How to Find Markets, and Niches Within Markets

So you are sitting at your desk trying to figure out what kind of site you would like to make, what market should you focus on? Which niche market proves the most profitable? These are some very important questions. Exploring all the markets to find the one you want to make a website around can be tricky.

From my experience is, if you are a beginner, you should always focus on what you like doing best. Like what are your favorite activities? What are your hobbies? Try to focus on making sites around what you are familiar with, at least at first, then you can explore other markets and make sites around them.

If you have already done that and want to step up and get a bit more advanced and start entering more profitable markets, then there is some simple methods you can use to help you find profitable niche markets, tools such as Keyword Country, which I highly recommend getting allows you to have access to an ongoing updated database of keywords that you can use to find which markets are getting the most traffic and which keywords are getting the most CPC on google's adsense, which gives you a rough idea of how much profitable that market is.

Keyword Country is good, and I use it all the time to help me find keywords and niche markets that are profitable.

Although it can still take a lot of time doing this on your own, since you have to look up keywords and research various markets, Keyword Country does provide you with tools that can help you with that, but I recommend a software program that can help you further with this.

Software like Niche Detector (a bit pricey, but well worth it) can really help you find markets, and niches within markets so you can easily get ideas to what you can create a website around so you can get a LOT of traffic to it, and to make a lot of easy money from it.

For example using Niche Detector, I quickly found a high traffic market call World of Warcraft, and within that market I found a niche called leveling guides. Apparently a lot of people are searching these key words from that market and they are finding very little pages about it. So this might be a good idea to make a content site around.
